Rules & Regulations
1Tournament Format
- 10 teams will participate in SBPL Season 2.
- Each match will be played over 5 overs per side.
- The tournament will be held on 30 & 31 January 2027 at Bolukatta Mini Stadium, Badiadka.
- Match fixtures, groups and knockout format will be announced by the organising committee.
2Player Eligibility & Registration
- All players must complete the online Player Registration before the closing date.
- Each player must carry a valid photo ID on match days; the committee may verify it at any time.
- Providing false information will lead to disqualification of the player.
- The Digital Player Card is issued after registration is verified.
3Team Composition
- Each team will have 2 Icon players (All India) and 1 Captain (KSD).
- Remaining squad members are selected by the team owner as per the committee's squad rules.
- Players can represent only one team in the tournament.
4Team Registration & Owners
- Team slots are limited to 10 and are allotted on a confirmed registration basis.
- Team owners must complete the Team Registration and any applicable fee to confirm their slot.
- Owners are responsible for the conduct of their team, players and supporters.
5Jersey, Food & Facilities
- Jerseys and food are provided by the committee.
- Players must wear the official jersey in all matches; no alterations or additional branding.
6Match Rules
- Teams must report at the ground at least 30 minutes before the scheduled match time.
- A team failing to appear within 15 minutes of the scheduled time may forfeit the match.
- Umpires' decisions are final and cannot be challenged.
- Over limits, powerplay and tie-break (Super Over) rules will be announced before the tournament.
7Code of Conduct
- Abusive language, misbehaviour or violence will result in immediate disqualification.
- Consumption of alcohol, tobacco or any prohibited substance on the ground is strictly banned.
- Players and officials must respect umpires, organisers, volunteers and spectators.
8Prizes & Awards
- First Cash Prize: ₹1,50,000 and a reward worth ₹50,000 for the winning team's owner.
- Second Cash Prize: ₹1,00,000 and a special reward for the runner-up team's owner.
- Individual awards, if any, will be announced by the committee.
9General
- The organising committee's decisions on all matters are final and binding.
- The committee reserves the right to change the schedule, rules or format when necessary.
- Matches will be live streamed on King Sports; participants consent to being filmed and photographed.
