Welcome to Kompat. These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our website, mobile application, and sports auction platform services (collectively, the "Platform"). Please read these Terms carefully before using the Platform.
By registering for an account, accessing, or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must immediately discontinue your use of the Platform.
By accessing or using Kompat, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) and possess the legal authority to enter into a binding agreement. If you are using the Platform on behalf of an organization, sports club, or association, you represent that you have the authority to bind that entity to these Terms.
Kompat is a specialized software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform designed for hosting sports player auctions and managing tournaments (e.g., Cricket, Hockey, Volleyball, Basketball, etc.). The Platform facilitates three primary user roles:
Kompat functions solely as a software facilitator. We are not a party to any contract, deal, or transaction made between Organizers, Team Owners, and Players.
To use most features of the Platform, you must register for an account. You agree to:
You are solely responsible for all activities that occur under your account, including bids placed and communications sent.
The bidding points, coins, budgets, or purses displayed within the auction panel are strictly virtual points used for simulation and recreational drafting purposes. They hold no real-world monetary value. Kompat does not process, handle, or guarantee any financial payouts, salaries, or physical cash transactions associated with player bids, unless explicitly coordinated offline by tournament organizers under their own responsibility.
Payment Disclaimer: KOMBAT is not responsible or liable for any kind of payment, transactions, entry fees, or financial disputes between Players, Teams, and Organizers. Our platform is used solely for auction management and event display.
Organizers are subject to payment terms based on selected subscription plans (Basic, Pro, or Enterprise):
You retain ownership of any logos, photos, names, player profiles, and other assets you upload to the Platform. However, you grant Kompat a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to host, display, and distribute this content to facilitate your tournament.
You agree not to upload content or engage in behavior that:
Organizer Data Collection: All player registration information, documents, and profiles are collected directly by the tournament Organizer, not KOMBAT. KOMBAT acts only as a software provider facilitating the event.
Marketing Policy: KOMBAT never uses player, team, or organizer information for any marketing, commercial campaigns, or any other unauthorized purposes.
The Platform is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. Kompat makes no representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied, regarding the platform uptime, latency during live auctions, or compatibility with all networks and devices. Organizers are strongly encouraged to test network connectivity and backup settings prior to hosting live public events.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Kompat, its directors, employees, and partners shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, goodwill, or tournament disruption resulting from your use of the Platform.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Kerala, India.
